Tanzania beauty!

I have heard from various people that Tanzania is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and I concur.  I have returned to Nairobi, Kenya, after spending a week on a Safari adventure.  The trip began with a drive from Nairobi to Arusha.  I sat back and simply marveled at the world around me.  Warriors were tending to cattle in the fields and along the highways.  At times we had to stop the drive to allow cattle  (cows, donkeys and goats) to cross the roads.  In the villages, women carried large packages on their head and small children on their back.  At times, other children also carried water.  The village houses are either little huts or resemble little sheds, and the main streets are small dirt roads.  I enjoyed a six hour African massage (bumpy roads).  It was truly a fantastic day.
The next day, my group and I departed for Lake Manyara National Park.  Upon entering the park we were greeted by blue monkeys, baboons, elephants and giraffes.   At night, we stayed in a lodge on top of a mountain which had a beautiful view of the Park.  In the morning, I awoke to two monkeys knocking on my room patio door.  After breakfast, off we went to the Serengeti National Park, my home for two days.  The Serengeti is absolutely beautiful, nature at it's best.   Wildlife is everywhere.  Wildebeests, gazelles, zebras and buffaloes walk the grounds in harmony.   I witnessed lions and cheetahs eating their catch of the day while hyenas circled the feasting area anxiously awaiting their turn at the bony remains.  By day six, we headed to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.  This landscape differed from the others as the Ngorongoro Crater is made up of volcanoes, grasslands and mountain forests... also known as the Great Rift Valley.  By the time the Tanzania safari journey ended, our group had seen the Big 5.  To celebrate, we spent our last night in Arusha with a traditional African dinner, prepared and hosted by locals at their home.  Truly the best meal of the trip!
