The End of the Road to Adventure

Camping safaris!!!  Never in a million years would I have imagined myself tenting in the middle of Africa wildlife, but then again adventure is what I set out to do right?  Kenya has been amazing.  Over the span of one week, I have:  learned to fight-off hungry Baboons; been taught what the sound of an elephant wandering about near a campsite sounds like; can identify hippo and lion footprints; can recognize the echo of hyenas in the middle of the night; and I am now familiar with what security measures are needed when nature calls in the middle of game viewing.  I slept like a lazy leopard in a tree, ate like an rhino, and loved every minute of it.  It is with a big thank you to the people of Kenya for all of their kindness, a greater wildlife appreciation, and a bit of a heavy heart that I prepare to leave.  I have reached the end of the road to the adventure leg of my journey.  Tomorrow, I head to Egypt and will be ready to welcome a little inspiration.

Our nightguards made sure no elephant or other wild animal trampled our tents.
